Akton is providing IPLC-International Private Leased Circuits (MPLS and ETH) and other services between all our PoPs or directly to any of your customers in the region. We own the Metro optical network in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Skopje and Podgorica. MPLS
Akton runs its own network for the entire Adriatic region. MPLS technology allows Akton to improve the backbone network and thus provide increased security, faster routing and better utilisation of the available capacities. Akton provides L3 MPLS connections, enabling customers to have Intranet/Internet or Common Service VPNs. Akton's backbone network also supports CsC (Carrier supporting Carrier) connections and provides QoS (Quality of Service).
Our customers can distribute their bandwidth between applications and protocols, such as VoIP, video conferencing, SAP, SIP, Citrix, X-Windows, PC-Anywhere, Netshow, Netbios, NFS, HTTP, Internet access, email and many more.
ETHERNET
Akton offers secure and fast ETHERNET point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connections. Network adaptability enables support for all access speeds, from 1 Mbps to 10 G. The service can be offered over PURE ETHERNET L2 or ETH over MPLS platforms. The service provides numerous significant advantages for everyone who requires reliable and cost effective international capacities.
IP Transit
Akton combines direct connections to Tier 1 internet providers and to the most important European IX points. It thus provides its partners with high-quality Internet transit in all its colocations and in other points of presence in the Adriatic Region.
DIA (Dedicated Internet Access) and Broadband
Akton offers dedicated Internet access (DIA) to partners requiring a high-level connectivity service for their mission-critical business communications, applications and network. Network adaptability enables support for all access guaranteed speeds, from 1/1 Mbps to 10/10 Gbps with low latency traffic routing via a comprehensive SLA. Our clients receive Top class Internet connectivity based on a single AS (25467).
Akton offer DDoS protection on IP network. Akton DIA DDoS PROTECT is a high-quality robust DDoS service which protects our partners against all form of anti DDoS attacks, not just Volumetric Attacks.
DF (Dark Fiber) Akton has an extensive dark fibre metro network in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade, Skopje, Sarajevo and Podgorica. Akton can offer dark fibre solutions in accordance with ITU-T G.652 standard in all cities. The network topology is built according to customer needs.
Managed CPE
An optional value-added service that integrates the customer’s CPE management into the offered MSP service. Via the Managed CPE service, Akton installs, configures, manages, monitors and provides remote and onsite technical support services for the CPE.
Depending on the specific MSP Service and customer requirements, Akton suggests the most suitable router for the customer.
